Migrant Woman Impaled By Rebar After Falling From Border Fence

A 26-year-old Guatemalan woman was with her 2 children, 3 and 5, when she attempted to cross the southern border near the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

The woman fell from the fencing and was impaled by a pieces of rebar. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
