Man Shoots At ‘Ghost’ During A ‘Break In’, Now Facing Charges

  • Twenty-five-year-old Christain Devaux of Tolland, Connecticut faces charges of illegal discharge of a firearm, making a false statement to police, second-degree reckless endangerment, misusing an emergency call, and disorderly conduct.
  • July 26, Devaux put two bullet holes in a wall in his home and reported the incident as an attempted break-in.
  • Devaux told police he was a paranormal investigator and that he believed the intruder was a spirit.
  •  He is free on $5,000 bond and due in court on Sept.11
  • According to state police, Devaux had made a similar report back in 2011.
